FAQs

Are these original copies from the 90s?

No, these are recently manufactured copies that look similar to the originals. Commonly referred to as Reproductions.

What are the advantages to buying one of these reproductions?

Availability - These are readily in stock and still produced today.

Rarity - Access to games you may have never been able to play on your original game console without paying a "collector's premium" of hundreds or thousands of dollars due to their limited availability.

Price - Since these are not scarce and not the collectable original, they are much cheaper to purchase.

Working Save Feature - If you were to buy an original 90's copy of a game that featured battery backed up saves, it is VERY likely the save feature no longer works and the battery may have possibly leaked, causing damaged to the game. Our reproductions that feature battery backed save all have brand new, updated circuitry and a fresh battery.
